This afternoon, Allie and Sami heard a jet fly over the house, so they ran to the sliding glass door to peek at the sky. Allie exclaimed, "Mom! I just saw the biggest 'r-plane I've ever seen!... It was about one-hundred and fifty pounds!... But little planes are only about... one-hundred pounds."
And, yes, Allie is unable to say airplane.

I think one of the greatest things about this story is that Allie said "r-plane" aka "arrrrrr-plane" so close to International Talk Like a Pirate Day. It looks like she's a cute little pirate just like her mother!
